Weren’t we told this all inclusive business was to disappear ; ? Of course the Tourists love it ; They book ( in a foreign country ) ,at rates so heavily discounted - locals will never get ; Pay to a Foreign company ( who are Middlemen in this world of Hosteleria ) Fly in on mostly foreign Airlines ; but thats paid in the Package most of the time ; and then arrive ; and Eat 3 or more meals a day in the Hotel (often owned by Foreign Hedge Fund Investors ) some of course owned by Mallorquin companies , even Families : applause !!! So this adds absolutely nothing to a local Village , and it will end up like Domenican Republic , or parts of Mexico ; all flash in the Hotel , yet a local community left to ruin . And yet your one of todays headline , is Govt wants Quality Tourism , Not Quantity - been hearing this for years !!!! Tourists should be out n about spreading the wealth around , and keeping the Great local restaurants alive !!!!!
