Dear Sir,
Having read Ray Fleming's column 20.4.00, I have to write to say I totally agree with him 100 per cent.
I have written to your paper on two to three occasions congratulating the island on the very high standard of its Balearic Symphony Orchestra.
For an island of its size to find a symphony orchestra of this standard is remarkable. None the less that its standard has improved fantastically under the baton of its present principal conductor Salvador Brotons.

All the hard dedicated work he has given to this orchestra is to be commended.
Like Ray Fleming, I can only hope he is encouraged to accept another contract so that he continues to do for this orchestra what he has also achieved in the past three years.

I never miss a concert when I am on the island for it is always one of the highlights of my visits.
Good luck to the orchestra in the future and with all its musical endeavours.
