Let us decide for ourselves

Dear Sir, I read with interest your article and comment of October 27th regarding sales. The issue as I see it is not the timing of sales.
It is that Baleares law does not let shop–owners decide for themselves when they want to discount! Owners/managers are the people best qualified to judge what the best strategy is for attracting customers, not local bureaucrats.
As a small business owner I make a plea to governments of all levels– get off our backs so that we can get on with increasing sales the way we know how! David Bertelsen
