Viewing from abroad the television recorded events of last Wednesday on the election trail, could there be a better potrayal of Labour's leaders? Blair almost pleading with an obviously, justly upset lady at a hospital, trying to induce her to get inside the building and away from the cameras. Jack Straw looking revealed and weak before the police federation, who clearly showed they did not believe his “story”. Finally the football-type hooligan reaction of Prescott to the egg thrown. As bad as a thrown egg may be, what reaction is this from a Deputy Prime Minister? The phoney, the weak, and the uneducated, - that's New Labour.
