I read with interest: Secretary of State for Tourism, Joan Mesquida, was in Poland yesterday to promote a pilot scheme aimed at attracting Europe's over-55s to Spain during the low season.
Obviously this is a very good idea for the islands but could someone please tell me why it's not promoted in the UK? There are an awful lot of people in this age group who do take holidays in the winter. If it is promoted in the UK how does one obtain the information?
