Why, may I ask, does Shirley Roberts want to hold back the “tide of change”, when an article by Andrew Ede, in the same issue, explains why, and also in the same issue, the main news story is about two local leading politicians being sentenced to jail for “misappropriating” the taxpayers, i.e. our money.

As far as I am concerned the sooner central government, not Palma, have more control over what happens to our hard earned cash, the better.
Having said this, I am in no way suggesting that the Soller councillors are not totally trustworthy, but can she vouch for the rest?
