DEAR SIR YESTERDAY the conservative leader David (or Dave during the run up to the election) Cameron took up the subject of fair pay. He had his eureka moment stating that the gap between top and bottom salaries should not exceed 20. With the UK minimum at £5.93/hour the maximum pay will be just under £250'000/annum.


This is no problem for me but what will the top 100 business leaders who have backed the conservatives over restricting national insurance increases say?

A mass exodus of financial traders and speculators would be very popular but how would a mass evacuation of the David Beckham's of our world go down?
The last time I came across this socialist style policy was in the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria - what strange bed fellows!
