THE latest news of the problems of the Centro Canino is heart rending & infuriating.Who are these one or two “neighbours” whose complaints ride rough-shod over the efforts the Centro Canino have made to meet their objections?

They are perhaps with political--or monetary--clout? The whole business is so undemocratic,& reflects very badly on the Palma politicians. The animals who will inevitably suffer have every right to a cared for life,& the Centro Canino helpers should be honoured not denigrated. Senor Antich,we all appeal to your sense of democratic fair play to use your authority to let Centro Canino carry on their great work of animal care in their present home,& earn the gratitude of tens of thousands in this otherwise beautiful Island.
