...for the Ferrari Grand Prix racing team which last Sunday fixed the result of the German Hockenheim Formula One race by issuing coded radio orders to one of its drivers, Felipe Massa, to give way so that another, Fernando Alonso, could pass and claim victory in the race. Ferrari has been fined 100'000 dollars and may have to appear before the World Mortor Sport Council which has unlimited powers of punishment at its disposal. Money penalties will not stop this kind of cheating. A ban from racing for a year might have some effect.
