WE have used the internet pages of your paper for many years to keep up with news in Majorca and of course we buy the paper when we come.

This year our holiday was marred by a car accident on the Porres to Villafranca road on the 10th of August. We were rescued from the wreckage by passing motorists, both local people and foreign tourists. They called the emergency services and we were taken to the Hospital in Manacor where we received excellent treatment. Marian was quite badly hurt with a Burst Fracture to the Vertebra in her lower back and broken bones in her foot. I suffered cuts and bruises and a Fractured Sternum. Marian was flown back to the UK by an Air Ambulance after 6 days and has just been released from hospital here to recover at home. We would like to thank everyone involved in this and wondered if you could print this letter in the Bulletin.
