...for three scientists working at Brit ish universities who won Nobel Priizes. Professor Robert Edwards of Cambridge University received the Prize for Medicine in recognition of his pioneering work over more than 30 years on in-vitro fertilisation. Two Russian born Professors at Manchester University, Andrei Geim and Konstantin Novoselov, received the Prize for Physics for their discovery of graphene, a form of carbon that promises to revolutionize computing and electronics. Geim has Dutch nationality and Novoselov has joint British and Russian citizenship. They have both worked in the UK for ten years.
