For Britain's prime minister Cameron for his readiness to say “sorry” -- a word that most politicans have difficulty in forcing past their lips regardless of the circumstances. Mr Cameron's recent apology for two cases in Parliament when he appeared to be condescending or sexist in remarks to women MPs seemed hearfelt -- “That's not what I'm like, it's not who I am, I want to try to put that right” -- but may also have had just a little to do with recent opinion polls showing that many women voters have doubts about his policies and his personality.
