THERE are few things which last forever but one of them is Britain´s love affair with Majorca. I think you can safely say that the only thing that stops the British moving to the island or coming on holiday here is the economic recession. Thankfully it appears that the British economy is finally on the mend so this should lead to an influx in would-be home buyers in the coming months. Imet a senior British businessman on Friday night who is in the process of buying a home on the island. He could have gone anywhere in the world but he elected Majorca. But I would disagree with a recent report by a leading international property company which stated that Majorca was the second best pleace to live in the world, with Dubai being top. It is obviously wrong because we all know that Majorca is the best place in the world and we are extremely lucky to be able to live here. This uisland has its faults but it has many more plus points which make it simply the best. Forget Dubai, Majorca is far nicer!
