THE English Premier League has been turned on its head by Manchester City´s 6-1 defeat of neighbours United on Sunday. Are we seeing the end of the dominance of Man. United of the Premier League or is it just a one-off? I suspect that United will bounce back and probably go-on and win the title. Alex Ferguson´s face was picture on Sunday; he knows that it was the worst possible result for the club that he has managed so successfully. For neutrals the Premier League this season offers a mouth-watering clashes of the titans with Manchester City rather spoiling the party for Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal. Is a new member about to be let-in to this elite club?

Are we seeing the end of the three team dominance? I think so, afterall City have not spent all this money for nothing. Watching Manchester City play Villarreal in the Champions League last week I was amazed to see that the Spanish team almost came away with a good result. Manchester City won with a last desperare strike to keep alive their Champions League campaign. But it was nail-biting stuff. Then City go on to beat the Premier League champions 6-1! Either Spanish teams are better than their English counterparts or City were more motivated for their clash against their neighbours. I sincerely hope that the result does ensure a fantastic Premier League spectacle. With so much bad news about at least the football league promises to be both exciting and plenty of fun.
