EVERYBODY seems to be concerned about the lack of winter flights to Palma from the UK, never mind winter flights, how about the fact that both BA and BMI have not only cancelled winter flights to the island but have no intention of resuming summer flights, even more worrying.

We are now left at the mercy of Easyjet and Ryanair and as there will be little competition, their prices will go sky high.
I thought that Majorca was supposed to be reinventing itself as an ‘upmarket tourist destination' obviously this is not the case. We have recently bought a property in Puerto Andratx and had we known at the time all scheduled flights were to be cancelled we would have reconsidered our decision to buy.
