After all-night negotiations the 17 members of the euro-zone agreed on three key measures to stabilise the crisis caused by the need to support the Greek, Irish and Portuguese economies and to prepare for any future difficulties of southern states. The agreement was initially welcomed but on closer inspection was thought to be lacking essential details on its implementation.
