Dear Sir, I HAVE just received my newsletter from Respect for Animals, an organisation dedicated to fighting the fur trade. I read with interest that Selfridges, H&M and Top Shop amongst others, have announced that they will no longer sell real fur in their stores. It would appear that we are becoming more aware that the fur trade is no longer needed and that furs obviously involve the killing of animals, not for food, not as by products, but purely for an unnecessary fashion statement. So why on earth did the Daily Bulletin today take a whole page to promote the fur industry? If you are willing to show the end products of this trade, perhaps you should redress the balance and print an article showing the other side of the industry. The side that involves trapping, poisoning and electrocuting of animals. The side that the industry does not want its' customers to see.
