Police
Dear Sir,
Yesterday I was in Playa de Palma, and Arenal, we often visit here in the day, taking our bike ride from Palma.
As is the case most days, the police are about, but do nothing to stop disorderly behaviour.
Yesterday about up to 12 tourists, were dancing in the street, with their portable speaker blasting, bottles of drink in their hands, some restaurant staff did come out to investigate, the police drove past, and did not stop, to move them on, or stop them drinking in the street.
The next incident happened a couple of months ago, again my wife and I cycling along the Playa de Palma front, two German tourists ran out in front of my wife, exposing themselves to her.
She got such a fright, she fell from her bike, the police saw this happening, she went over to the police, the reaction was, we have very little English, and they are drunk German tourists, so what do you want us to do?
So I am sorry to say the police have lost control, or could not be bothered attitude.
Majorca is a lovely island, but forget about law and order.
I have travelled and lived all over the world, and I only have property interests here, I will never live here permanently.
Ex Service man.
