Fly tipping
Dear Sir,
For many months now I have been meaning to write to you about people fly tipping, particularly builders, in our road Guillem de Moncada in Santa Ponsa.
The council workers have to regularly remove huge amounts of rubble, old beds, toilets, wash basins etc.,presumably removed from people having renovation work done.
We as residents pay an enormous council tax and to see builders and other people dump stuff by the bins is dreadful. It makes our road look awful.
The other annoyance is gardeners putting all the green stuff in the bin and even worse huge tree cuttings with dangerous spikes sticking out when you pass them.
When is the council going to enforce fines or even better put cameras near the bins to catch the offenders?
I would be interested how many more people are disgusted by this.
Regards,
B. Larty
