I have been coming to Palma most months since 2004. We have a yacht here.

I appreciate you want to talk up the economy here and encourage enthusiasm. However, every year I see a restaurant closing. Up to 2008 it was extremely difficult to get a mooring. Now there are plenty of spaces and the marina staff are more than welcoming.

Taxi drivers regularly “moan” but perhaps they always do. The only new eateries seem to be the quick snack type places. Otherwise everything is great and I wouldn’t be anywhere else.

Winter flights with Monarch are two times a week but last Monday’s flight was barely a third full. That must be a loss.
