Dear Sir,
In response to Jason Moore’s Viewpoint today, I emailed the prime minister a while ago to ask what would happen to British people living in the EU if Britain leaves the EU.

My email was passed to the department dealing with the referendum and after about three months I received a reply. This reply basically said that they had no idea what would happen to British people living in the EU. They also said that only people who had lived abroad for less than 15 years would be eligible to vote in the referendum. (I had pointed out that we should all be allowed to vote in this particular referendum - however long we had been abroad - as it would directly affect us). Perhaps - hopefully - your Viewpoint will stir someone to give some answers.
