Dear Sir,
I write this letter in response to Sir Roger Gale’s well-thought-out article in Tuesday's Bulletin, with which I am sure many readers will agree.
Nobody has mentioned that the referendum is not a General Election that people are being asked to vote on. The fifteen-year rule was introduced by the Blair government, possibly to keep himself in power. After all, we all know how honest Blair was and still is.
I believe that this referendum does not fall into the fifteen-year category, thus it does not need Parliament to change anything to allow all expats to vote.
Yours truly
C.J. Crane
