Good afternoon from sunny Spain where all expats are millionaires and spend their days living the dream with a gin and tonic in their hand. This appears to be the perception some people have of expat Brits back in Britain. Now, we all know that this is far from the truth. Making a living in Spain is not easy and, on average, wages are lower than in Britain. Sacrifices have to be made to live in the sun and that is the truth.

Yet another poorly thought out and presented article. Not a good advertisement for the paper.
Come on Jason, you cannot have it both ways. You say that Ex-pat Brits should not lose their UK voting rights then go on to say that we should be able to vote in Spain too. Surely it has to be one or the other, not both. You cannot have your cake and eat it. Also you say that "the only people who are feeling the direct effects (affect is not a noun) of Brexit are Britons living overseas". What rubbish. If you have learned anything from reading UK newspapers or watching the UK news, you will see that there have been many changes for people in the UK too e.g. Companies moving out of UK causing job losses, food costs soaring, farmers not able to get cheap European labour as many have returned home to name but 3. It seems you wrote this article in a hurry without giving much thought to the facts.
