Just after the British general election last year I said in this space that I sincerely doubted that a full Brexit would ever take place. Labour are more pro-Europe than the Conservatives and I must say that it appears at the moment that leader Jeremy Corbyn is in the driving seat. Labour would take Britain back into the European Customs Union which would allow trade to flourish between Britain and the continent. The downside would be that Britain would be unable to sign trade deals with other countries, which was one of the arguments for Britain leaving the European Union in the first place.

So Far Mrs May hasn't listened too any of her Tory colleagues or any of the Other Political Parties. She still has to have her proposed Bill accepted by Parliament and this includes The Welsh and Scottish Parliaments who have publicly denounced supporting the Bill as it stands, as it's a Westminster Power Grab from both devolved Parliaments so it isn't going to be as easy as she thought! Scotland voted Against leaving the EU and I think this is going to turn very nasty! She can't even control her party nevermind The Welsh and Scottish Nationalists. BREXIT is a MESS and she knows it!.
If any one thinks Jeremy Corbin is in the Labour parties “driving seat”, they need gen up on what’s happened in the Labour Party in recent months. Jeremy Corbin has been a Eurosceptic all his political life. Watch/listen to his old speeches for verification of this. The Customs Union U turn is being forced on him by the Labour parties extreme left wing bully boys ie, Keith Starmer, Chuka Umunna and the semi secret leftist underground moment Momentum. The Labour parties Brexit policy had changed thirteen times since the Brexit vote. So have the Labour Party a Brexit policy ? well yes if you call olive oil a solid.
Same old broken record,we are out, which clearly you don't like and it will be the best thing we have done so stick to reporting the news on Majorca.
After reading this rubbish, it is obvious that you ( Jason Moore ) know no more than I do about Brexit - and that is very little. I suggest you get out your pipe and slippers and sit by the fire until you have something to tell us.
The EU will make an example of the UK, and the Brexit conditions. The EU will ensure no other member nation will want to leave their exclusive Club. So, Britain will be subjected to maximum grief, and continuing problematical conditions , that will be ongoing for many years.
MelB, sometimes I agree with you but you are becoming boring on your negative comments every day
CORBIN IS A CLOWN
Another reminder that this is the Majorca Daily Bulletin. Your uninformed biased rants are not only becoming boring but also laughable. Please resign and let a real editor take over.
