Usually you can hear a pin drop at Palma airport from November onwards. The island goes into its winter siesta with most hotels closed and few flights. But not this year. When I travelled across to London on Sunday I was amazed to discover that the airport was very busy and not just with domestic flights. Jet2 now operates a winter programme to the island and the airport was packed with British tourists.

An Article showing who is operating to and from the UK throughout the Winter, with ALL their Winter Airports listed. From November until May. Per chance to dream. Also another list of all the ATTRACTIONS during the Winter. Another list of ALL the Hotels that are open and where they are this Winter. A statement from the powers that be NO TOURIST TAX DURING WINTER FROM NOVEMBER TO MAY. Ah well per chance to dream on again and again!!!!.
There might have been a couple of flights to southern UK at similar times, hence quite a few passengers at the same time. There won´t have been any passengers for flights due to land north of the Watford Gap !!
Oh nothing to do with seasonal workers returning then 💁and there are even fewer flights so you really need to do some proper research instead of making it up
