Well on the bright side, at least this will show those that constantly winge about tourists what it is like without them!,
Always visit Paguera for 4 weeks plus starting June Hopefully tourists will be allowed BUT both being 70 Boris has own said us oldies must stay in for 12 weeks which will takes us into the date our easyjet flights are booked(from last September) Insurance as always washes hands ,not their problem. So do we turn up get on the flight, nothing on easyjet website, nothing any sense from Boris. Best wishes to all on your beautiful island.
Looking at the curve of infections, the two weeks will be merely the beginning, with the peak optimistically being between 4 to 6 weeks away. The end of May, never mind the end of the month will be the earliest that any kind of recovery can even be contemplated. And even that will only be gradual.
The EU will close borders to all incoming visitors from the UK shortly. With group events, pop concerts, horse races etc ongoing, the UK is behaving like an irresponsible pariah, and consequently tourist destinations that rely on 50%+ UK visitors will suffer dramatically. This summer season will be a write-off.
