Right now, Mallorca needs every last tourist of whatever nationality to return. | T. AYUGA

Fits of pique are understandable enough when you’d been told many times over by the Balearic government that the homework had been done and that all the restrictions had been in aid of June bustin’ out all over with the start of the tourism season, only for a foreign government to turn round and shove two fingers up in your general direction.

Nice article and worth the read for sure. However, let’s get real for a second or two. Boris and his team having nothing more in mind than keeping the Brits locked away on the tiny island and spending their hard earned ‘locally’. The current red, amber, green policy is nothing more than that. It’s as transparent as he is. It’s high time people of free will were allowed to make their own decisions and behave responsibly. The current policy and ‘guidance’ should be treated with as much respect. Time to get real and start making your own decisions on what you do and where you go.
Bit of a one sided article, you seem to have forgotten that many European countries have stopped UK nationals from travelling such as Germany and France. Also the Spanish have imposed the same ban for the last few months and only recently opened the borders again. Previously the Spanish government did so to stop variants from being imported. Funny how the Indian variant seems to have been forgotten at the same time as the tourist season kicks off.....The only reason for your one sided article is because you know full well that tourism does not survive without the UK. Sounds like bitterness to be honest and we Brits aren't complaining about being stopped from travelling to France or Germany or even Spain when they had the restrictions. Grow up and stop relying so much on the Brits to keep your economy afloat.
