You have to wonder what qualifications are necessary to become a member of the Sage committee, the word sage being laced with delicious irony given how barmy some of its advocates appear to be. The latest proclamation from a member of the Sage committee comes from Professor Susan Michie of University College London, who suggests that the populace continues to wear facemasks and social distances until the end of time.

Ok Kay. I will try and give a honest assessment. The wearing of masks is still in place. Always worn in shops but not eating or drinking. If it's a hot day, you can wear it below the nose to allow the function of breathing as most seem to do this including me!. If you see anybody not wearing masks..they are tourists who don't care. Hope that helps, enjoy the summer:)
Can you advise me if the wearing of masks is still mandatory here in Mallorca? I ask this question, as nobody is wearing them along the Passo del mar Palma Nova and es carregador. I was out walking yesterday and there was approximately 6 people in total wearing a mask, including myself. During my 2 hours walking ,2 police cars passed slowly but nobody was stopped. . can I, therefore assume that I can walk along the Passo without my mask? I would be grateful if you can advise on this. Regards Kay
