Where do you get this "6 month working 6 months holidays" stuff? Oh, ok, you made that up. I get it.
All very well but why should we (taxpayers) subsidise the big hotel chains ie pay their workers' wages for 5 months of the year with dole money. The season could be and should be longer than 7 months. Look at the weather now. Are you telling me people in Northern Europe wouldn't rather be here in the sun rather than stuck at home in the cold and rain! The hotels, airlines, tour operators and local government need to get together to sort this out. But the big hotel chains make so much in the summer they are quite happy to close up for 5 months.
Spain is so used to 6 Month working. Then 6 Months Holidays. I doubt many will want to work more Months.
