Why is that dog owners feel the need to let their pets foul on pavements in towns and villages and on paths in beautiful reserves. Not only is dogs mess a danger to human health, but it is also unsightly, smelly, and takes time to decompose.

This is probably true of many towns but Alcúdia is a slalom of dog poo. There are signs everywhere about fines but I have never heard of anyone being fined. The council aren’t doing their bit as I know of only 3 poo bins around the town and they’re often rammed full. Actually the state of all the bins in Alcudia is a disgrace too. What must visitors think? And supposedly a world heritage site!
