Nightmare at Palma airport (update)

Hundreds of flights were delayed at Palma airport on Monday as a result of the impact of Sunday´s freak storm. There were thousands of passengers in the main terminal building with airport authorities saying that it would take time to get the airport back to normal. The problem was even more pronouced for British travellers because of the problems suffered by British air traffic control.

But today things started to return to normal at the airport.
