Sporty Spice tries to hide her new look in Ibiza

Spice Girl Melanie Chisolm, alias Sporty Spice, is currently in Ibiza filming a video for her next solo single and last night hundreds of locals were used as extras in the video when filming moved to the Es Paradis nightclub where entrance was free, after midnight, for all those wishing to take part in the video. All of the Spice Girls, apart from Victoria Beckham, Posh Spice, have embarked on solo careers, however, as yet none have been able to match the success of Ginger Spice, Geri Halliwell, who was the first to break off all ties with the group. The video is due to be shown on MTV international as Mel C. hopes to open her new blonde image and solo career to the world market. She is said to have thoroughly enjoyed her time on the island, including a paella with the crew, and has been closely looked after by bodyguards and her team of advisors, publicists and secretaries. On top of her personal entourage were some 50 people involved in filming the music video promo. Security around the various sets for the video has been kept extremely tight and every effort was made to try and prevent the media from gaining access to the shoots, some of which ran late into the evening, with the Balearic sunset as the backdrop.
