Hot summer of music starts this weekend

THE summer music festival and entertainment calendar kicked off yesterday in Esporlas where the Hibritart Festival is taking place this weekend. The “cultural” festival has been organised to bring together local musicians, artists, performers etc. with their international colleagues. Over the weekend the Hibritart Festival at the football ground, will be featuring art exhibitions, theatrical productions, multi-media shows, literary readings etc. but topping the events are three nights of concerts running simultaneously in each of the three show tents, featuring bands and disc jockeys from all over the world. From the UK the group Bis, one of the most popular independent bands of the moment in Britain, will be topping the bill, as will Aston Harvey and The Freestylers, a trio of DJ's who have performed at Glastonbury and the main underground clubs in England and the US.
