German supermodel Claudia Schiffer and her fiancé Tim Jeffries have been making the most of their Majorcan summer holiday together, cruising round the island in a convertible black Jaguar sports car. But there may be a black cloud on their horizon, as the Majorcan Union (UM) group on the Andraitx council wants the Balearic government to purchase her Cap Andritxol estate. There have been many complaints following the supermodel's attempts to ensure privacy by fencing off the estate and cutting off access to a 16th century watchtower. Apparently last Sunday they drove all over the island, doing a bit of shopping here and there before lunching on a friend's private estate making full use of the super car. Yesterday they were out and about shopping in the Port of Andratx and the last thing on Schiffer's mind appeared to be the controversy over her land which locals do not want fenced off as it will restrict public access to a historic watch tower. The couple, who got engaged at the start of the year and announced they would be marrying later this year, although time is slowly running out, have also been out regularly on Italian fashion designer Valentino's super yacht Blue One and have been throwing a number of parties in Camp de Mar.
