A Palma judge yesterday rejected a request for one of the prime suspects in the case of the murdered 82-year-old Palma car hire tycoon to be released. Sebastian B is one of the four people implicated in the brutal murder and robbery of the elderly man at his city centre home just 50 metres from the National Police station last month, and yesterday the judge ruled that because of the on-going investigation into the crime, it is not the right moment for him to be released. On Monday the other prime suspect, Jose Maria C is expected to appear before a Palma hearing. While Sebastian B denied having any involvement, his colleague Jose Maria has pointed the finger at him. Jose Maria is the only one of the four who has admitted that he visited the scene of the crime on the night of the murder, but has denied killing the businessman, the murderer, he claims, is Sebastain B. But Sebastain claims to have an alibi, that he was in a Palma bar playing a guitar with the bar owner at the time of the murder. The case continues.
