The British film of 2000 that everybody has been wanting to see Billy Elliot is heading for Majorcan screens and the bonus is that it will be showing in English at the Renoir from Friday. On Sunday, at the Golden Globe ceremony Billie Elliot star Jamie Bell was the main attraction at Dreamworks' post Golden Globe Awards party. The star was picked out of the crowd by Russell Crowe and Julia Roberts, who both wanted to have a word with the 14-year-old. Bell and Crowe had a long chat about being nominated for awards. After meeting Bell, Roberts invited him to join her and boyfriend Benjamin Bratt at their large corner booth. One onlooker said Bell complied although he looked a bit embarrassed by all the attention. However, the film being shown in English in Palma is expected to attract a great deal of attention.
