Water pressure may drop in some parts of Calvia today, as a result of repair work which EMAYA, the water board, plans to carry out on the pipelines. This was announced by the Calvia council in a communique yesterday. The areas which may suffer a drop in pressure between 8am and 6pm are Illetas, Portals, Bendinat and Costa den Blanes. In its communique, the council says that it has made sure that the municipal water storage tanks are full, in order to prevent problems. It also recommends users to obtain water from their tanks while repairs are made.
