Never again, said an exhausted Robert Winsor yesterday morning as he was inundated with e-mail messages of congratulations for the huge record-breaking success of his third celebrity charity golf tournament. However, Winsor makes the same remark every year, and every year there is another tournament. This year's golf classic, which would not have been possible without the dedicated help of Malcolm Andrews, raised 14.5 million pesetas, double Winsor's target figure. In just under two years, his three tournaments, the first and latest both having been played at Bendinat, have raised over £100'000 for disabled children in the Balearics. The gala dinner, which was attended by 200 people, and auction hosted by the Casino Mallorca, was a night to remember, said Winsor. The dinner was out of this world and many of the celebrities told me they had never seen a dinner quite like it anywhere, he added.
