Summer clubbing kicks off in Majorca with names, acts and nights to rival any of the Balearic Islands. On Sunday night this week in Tito's, the largest club on the Paseo Maritimo, there is Dance Tour 2001. This is claiming to be The first mixed competition of professional dance, including impressive dancers and go-go's from the best discos around the world. The jury of the competition will include Carolina Ballester, currently Miss Baleares. At the legendary Calvia club BCM, Dave Pearce will be playing tonight in association with SCREAM. Pearce, of Radio One fame, will be a regular feature in Majorca over the summer, along with fellow famous DJ Judge Jules, who played BCM on Monday night. BCM will host a varied pattern of music over the coming weeks, with Back To The Old Skool on a Wednesday, Invited DJs with residents (Isaac Indart, Angel Costa and Doc C) on Saturdays and the regular but popular Clubbers Night on a Sunday for those who wish to end the weekend with a bang. The Millenium club in Magalluf (underneath BCM) is also hosting a fun weekend, with foam parties on both Friday and Sunday nights. Through the week the programme is varied, 70*s night on Monday, another foam party on Tuesday, 80*s night on Wednesday and a popcorn party on Thursday. There doesn't seem to be a good night in Majorca to sit at home with the feet up! Keep your eyes on the Daily Bulletin throughout the summer, as we will bring you dates and locations of all the top DJ acts and action on the Island.
