Construction work on supermodel Claudia Schiffer's new Camp de Mar Majorcan-style mansion is well under way just a stone's throw away from her new villa which was completed only two years ago. However, the budding actress whose new boyfriend is Matthew Vaughan, Guy Ritchie's best friend and best man when Ritchie married Madonna last Christmas, is said to have found the new villa rather small for her and the family and that the property is not as paparazzi proof as hoped. The property is expected to be completed within two years and Schiffer is continuously monitoring the mansion's progress via the internet. The plot at Cap Andritxol is on a vast expanse of land Schiffer owns, and is perched on top of a hill with spectacular views for the eventual residents, but not the photographers. Even the construction work is hidden behind green fences so that people on the ground can not see what is going on inside the property. Schiffer, who pops over to the island regularly, is expected to spend part of the summer between Majorca and Ibiza and Matthew Vaughan, with whom she appears to have a serious relationship, although she does not want to talk about marriage for the time being, is expected to join her. Perhaps he will invite Mr and Mrs Ritchie to join the party.
