Maria Antonia Munar, president of the Council of Majorca, yesterday presented her new team and announced a summit meeting with the regional government to discuss the chief problems affecting the island. She said that the meeting with government leader Francesc Antich would be held in July and that the agenda would include urban development and the rise in immigration. Munar was speaking at the swearing in of her new team, which was attended by all the political parties represented on the Council. During her speech, Munar stressed the role that would be played by Rafael de Lacy as head of the planning department. Dolça Mulet will head a new department which will cover sports and pensioners, while Maria Antonia Vadell retains her post as vice president and head of the cultural department.
