The Balearic government came under fire yesterday from the director general of ENDESA, power company GESA's parent company, for failing to include a recommended new supply line in the Balearic Power Plan. Manuel Moran said yesterday that, in the wake of last summer's serious power cut which left all of Majorca and parts of Minorca without electricity, ENDESA suggested to the Balearic government that, when drawing up the new regional power plan, a new line be included to ease the pressure on the supply network which overloaded with disastrous consequences last summer.
