The Centre Stage Productions company has been busy rehearsing and is ready to present its latest show, Cinderella, at the Sala Mozart in Palma's Auditorium. It will be a colourful extravaganza, according to spokesman Benito Amengual. He added that it was a free, modernised version of the universally popular fairy tale, and is aimed at children. Like all Centre Stage Productions shows, there will be live music, with songs in English. The settings have been modernised and the gala ball at which Cinderella finds her prince will take place in a disco. The show has been written and directed by Robert Lloyd Bateman, with music direction with Conway Jones. Performances will be on November 30 and December 1 and 2, making it an ideal pre-Christmas treat.
