Some of the biggest names in British music were in Deya yesterday as guests at the wedding of Caroline Corr, drummer of the top Irish band The Corrs, to Frank Wood. Bono, The Edge and all from U2 attended along with Formula 1 supremo Eddy Jordan. The wedding was held at Deya church, swamped by the storm just hours earlier, and the reception was at a secluded agro-tourism hotel near Soller. Caroline wore white, while her sisters, lead singer Andrea and Sharon, along with the bridesmaids wore red. Brother Jim and the rest of the family have been staying at the Residencia Hotel just across the way from the church. A somewhat stormy start to their marriage, but once lightning had stopped, the rain moved off and the electricity was back on, drummer Caroline Corr married Frank Woods at the church in Deya yesterday evening. The wedding was attended by fellow band members, sisters Andrea, Sharon and brother Jim along with close family and friends, which included U2*s Bono and The Edge, who bought a house in Majorca last year, with the reception just across the way at the Residencia Hotel. Caroline arrived on Thursday and visited the church that afternoon to go over the final arrangements. As expected the bride looked fantastic as she arrived at the church and the storm clouds held off for the ceremony.
Corr, what a wedding
