REAL Mallorca coach Gregorio Manzano yesterday claimed he was not preoccupied with the threat of Fernando Morientes despite the Real Madrid striker's hat-trick for Spain against Ecuador on Wednesday night. Eleventh place Mallorca face league leaders Madrid at the Bernabeu on Saturday as they attempt to remain unbeaten for an eighth consecutive match. With first choice Raul recovering from appendicitis Morientes is in line to start against Mallorca. His bid for the starting line-up has been strengthened after scoring as a sub last weekend against Seville as well as Wednesday night's triple in Spain's 4-0 friendly international victory. However Manzano was not singling out any player for special attention yesterday. “I am obviously going to take note of all of Madrid's players,” said Manzano. “Morientes is a fantastic striker and he always displays that when he plays, but he is only one player. “As we all know Madrid have created a squad to win all competitions and if Raul isn't there or if Ronaldo or Figo or Zidane is tired then they always have exceptional players to replace them.” Mallorca, who are unbeaten in their last three visits to the Bernabeu, may be able to count on veteran defender Miguel Angel Nadal who has recovered from long-term injury. Manzano will decide on the former Spain international's fitness in training today.
