Super ferry for the Balearics

Palma.The Acciona Trasmediterránea company is maintaining a service between Barcelona, Valencia and the Balearic Islands this summer with 50'000 ferry tickets a week in both directions, shipping firm sources confirmed yesterday. There will be daily connections between Barcelona and Palma and extra sailings on a Saturday. A new high speed boat, the Alcántara Dos will start operating on the ferry route between Valencia and Sant Antoni in Ibiza from 15th June.
