Palma.—The Balearic government is hoping to raise 2 million euros from the sale of 951 parking spaces or garages which the regional Housing Institute (Ibavi) intends to put up for sale. Each would cost between 2'500 and 10'000 euros depending on its location.

The government said that the garages are at various subsidised housing developments which have not been sold by the promoters with individual flats.
