Palma.—The Puerto Portals Christmas market comes to the end of its first week today and so far, it has been a huge success.
The festive fair, which continues until Three Kings on January 6 has attracted thousands of people, young and old, all keen to savour the Austrian and German flavours of the market, enjoy the wonderful Christmas lights and all the entertainment.

Apart from daily workshops and activities for children, there is plenty of entertainment for all the family, not to mention great food with all of the Port's best restaurants getting into the festive spirit and making sure there's plenty of tasty festive food on the menus.

Tonight, for example, at 7pm there will be a live Christmas Jazz and Soul concert and tomorrow at 5pm a children's workshop with the Froggies and the Cuentacuentos and at 7pm, the restaurants Duke and Can Punta will be offering a special Funky Christmas with DJ Tito Fuster. And, on Sunday, at 12.30pm there will be a children's Christmas decorations workshop while at 5pm, Santa Claus will be popping into the Port to meet some of the children and ask them what they want for Christmas and Three Kings.

If that is not enough to entice you down to the Port, do not forget that all these activities are taking place against what is considered “the best Christmas market in Majorca.”
