Port of Alcudia to have a weekly market

Within the next two months, the Port of Alcudia is going to have its own weekly market.
The council considers that it will add to the local attractions during the summer and also help to boost the local economy.
The weekly market is going to be held in Cas Vicari square and will be similar to the popular market held in Alcudia every Tuesday and Sunday but will be slightly smaller.

The new market however will have a greater emphasis on local arts and crafts although it will also feature a traditional market of fruit, vegetables and other local produce. The council has still yet to decide on which day it will be held.
