AIR Europa yesterday started its new route between Madrid and Buenos Aires, with four direct flights per week in both directions.
However, the airline has planned two extra flights during the first week of operation to meet the “great demand” and from November they will increase the number flights on this route to five per week. The airline will use the Airbus A330-200 on this route, which has a capacity for 299 passengers, of which 24 are business class. The aircraft is also equipped with the most advanced technology in Europe.

The President of the Globalia group, Juan Jose Hidalgo, said that the start of this new route is part of Air Europa's plans for new destinations. The Argentinian Tourism delegate, Isabel Crego, said she considered that this new route is a demonstration of the “growing interest” shown by European travellers in visiting South American countries.
